Bronwen Manning
comes from a family deeply rooted in Africa with interests in wildlife and human resource development. While her siblings continued in this line of work, she took the route of Archaeology graduating from Cape Town University with a B.A focusing on Prehistory.
Upon coming to Israel she joined the prehistoric excavation of Ruhama and participated in the activities of the Albright Archaeological Institution of which she is now an Associate Fellow.
Finished an M.A in Bible and the Ancient Near East from the Rothberg School at the Hebrew University while participating in the Dor seasons since 2007. She is now beginning her PhD research on the Neo-Assyrian stratigraphical and ceramic materials from Dor, under the supervision of Ilan Sharon and Ayelet Gilboa.
