Lidar Sapir-Hen
received her B.Sc in Life sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and her M.Sc in Ecology and Environmental Quality at the Department of Zoology in Tel Aviv University. Her thesis was about gazelle exploitation in the EPPNB of Motza. Currently she is doing her Ph.D research in the department of Zoology in Tel Aviv University, along with a B.A in Archaeology.
Lidar studies the faunal remains from Tel Dor, and her research is focusing on developing a model framework for the taphonomic analysis of complex tell site, with Tel Dor as a case study. She is working on this project since 2006; participated as an archaeozoologist in 2007 excavation season.
