Jessica Nitschke
received her M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her B.A. from the University of Chicago.
She is focusing on the history and archaeology of the Near East during the Persian, Hellenistic and Roman periods.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Ancient History and Mediterranean Archaeology at the University of California, Berkeley. Now has a position of a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Classics Department, Georgetown University.
Has been on the Dor staff since 1999.
